Brochures

Postby Larryl1882 » Sun Apr 02, 2017 1:16 am

I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I can find/order the "Therapist Brochure" that was handed out at the 2013 Northeastern Family Conference held in Boston, Massachusetts on April 27, 2013. they said that one could call for it, and it is good to leave it with care givers, and Dr's that will be working with my wife who has PSP, but I have no phone number.

Thank you.

Regards,
Larry

Larry,

A belated welcome to the the forum, but I've been following all your posts.

I haven't seen the 2013 therapist brochure among all the brochures and pamphlets available at the New York City headquarters of curePSP. But there might be similar content in one of the many resources they have published. I did look around for something similar, but I didn't take time to read everything.

Here is the contact info if you wish to call for information:

Larry,

Were the staff folks at curePSP able to help with your request re. the Therapist brocure you were looking for?

I didn't think there'd be much hope that a supply of 2013 pamphlets would be stored, but good chances that a successor document with essentially the same info might have been created.

BTW, a belated welcome to the forum. A good place to find counsel and help -- from caring people who have been on the same journey as you, dealing with the issues and challenges of this dreadful condition.

Hi Ed,

Sorry I haven't gotten back yo you. Been a little busy.

I took my wife to the Fr for a follow up visit, and we did discuss a few things, like her blood pressure, and pain in her upper legs. along with her scratching. The balance issue is something I have to try to work on as the insurance will not pay for anymore therapy. I have to keep hold of her walker, or she will fall backwards.

I did mention the pamphlets to the Dr. and she was very receptive to it. Now all I have to do is CALL them.

Thank you very much.

Regards,
Larry
